COMPACT 410 by Aber Instruments Ltd - Made in Wales

In-line instruments for continuously measuring the concentration of live yeast cells for a variety of process and quality control applications in the production of beers and ciders.

Applications: Reliable control of yeast within the brewery. Repeatable Fermentation Performance, Greatly Improved Quality & Flavour Consistency and less waste. Applications include:

Operating principle: Live yeast cells can hold a small charge, whereas dead cells do not. The capacitance of yeast solution changes in proportion the population of live yeast cells. By measuring minute changes in the radio frequency capacitance and fluid conductivity the number of live cells in the yeast suspension can be determined in cells/ml or as spun solids.

Install: In-Line and Vessel Mounted instruments with HMI screen. 4-20 mA I-O to a PLC

Memory capacity sufficient to store the calibration characteristics of up to 20 yeast strains

Benefits: Very accurate, Reliable, Long operating life, CIP Cleanable, Virtually no maintenance.

New robust design of Compact 410P is intended for arduous brewery applications. Greatly improved fermentation, better control for more consistent brewing, better beer, less waste, less hassle
